Scenic View Country Club first opened for play in 1959, the back nine were added in 1961. The course was designed by Robert Raasch
Scenic View Country Club has a number of tree-lined fairways that average thirty yards in width. Obviously, target golf is necessary. This course was also built on rolling terrain, so be prepared for some uneven lies. Water hazards only come into play on two holes, but sand bunkers are located on fourteen of the eighteen holes.
Par for the course is 72 from the back tees and 71 from all other tee positions.. From the back tees the course plays to 6,286 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,343 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 557 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 133 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 538 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Scenic View is # 12, a 451 yard par-5.
